2. Description of Service

Echoes is a digital legacy platform that allows users to create, store, and schedule messages for future delivery to designated recipients. The Service includes:

• Creation and storage of text, voice, and video messages
• Scheduling of message delivery based on dates or milestones
• Management of recipient lists and access controls
• AI-powered personality modeling (premium features)

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Be responsible for all activities conducted through your account

4. Content Ownership and Rights

You retain all ownership rights to the content you create and upload to Echoes. By using the Service, you grant Echoes a limited license to:

• Store and process your content to provide the Service
• Deliver your messages to designated recipients as instructed
• Use AI processing for premium features you've opted into

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload illegal, harmful, threatening, or abusive content
• Harass, threaten, or harm others
• Violate intellectual property rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Distribute spam or unsolicited messages

6. Payment and Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You may cancel at any time, but refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. Lifetime access purchases are non-refundable after 30 days.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Your messages and content will be stored indefinitely as part of our lifetime guarantee. You may request deletion of your account and all associated content at any time by contacting support. Scheduled messages will not be delivered after account deletion.

8. Limitation of Liability

Echoes is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to message delivery failures, data loss, or unauthorized access.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
